As Lead Teacher in the primary Montessori classroom, you will be a compassionate, patient leader of your teaching team of 3 assistant teachers; a skilled and credentialed practitioner of the Montessori method for 20 children ages 30 months to 6 years; and a responsive community builder for the families in your classroom community.
You will embody grace and courtesy for your classroom community; creating a safe and edifying professional environment for your teaching team; a wholesome, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for your mixed age classroom; while welcoming and nurturing a community of families that love the children you will guide.
As a lead Montessori teacher, you will be an ambassador of Ambrosia Montessori. The lead teacher is a guide to whom all who enter our school will look to for reliability, stability, organization, communication, consistency, and excellence in practice.
Ultimately, you will be a model of kindness, respect, and care for the team of teachers with whom you will work, the children and the families that will join our program; and for all people that enter our building. You will touch a large community of lives, all of whom will need your grace, your courtesy and your leadership.
Full-Time Salary Range: $48,000 to $60,000 per year
Anticipated schedule: 7:00am to 3:30pm with an hour lunch break.

Wage Starting at $20 per hour
Anticipated schedules: 8:00am to 4:30pm with an hour lunch break; 9:00am to 5:30pm with an hour lunch break; and 10:00am to 6:30pm with an hour lunch break;
