About Us

Who We Are

Ambrosia Montessori is the dream of Andrea Mosko, a dedicated educational leader, to create a beautiful early learning environment for the benefit of children, their families as well as a establishing a professional and financially rewarding opportunity for the expert guides that serve them.

Why Montessori

Montessori is the most well-described professional approach to early learning that exists today. It is a flexible, respectful and a thoroughly designed approach to early learning that inspires independence, curiosity, and a love of learning that creates passionate students and citizens of the world.

Montessori credentialed teachers are certified through a rigorous teaching certificate program that is founded in human development and designed to serve the specific needs of each period of development appropriately, carefully and respectfully. The Montessori approach consistently integrates brain development with social emotional, and motor development with every individual activity. It is beautiful and inclusive at every turn.

Why RIE

RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers) approach.  RIE is a beautiful approach to infant learning and care and the RIE approach dovetails perfectly with the Montessori approach in the classroom experiences that will follow.

The reason we use the RIE approach is its focus on respect for the infant’s physical person and trust in the infant’s agency.  The RIE guide will carefully observe and learn each child’s natural queues and support each child’s needs with skilled responses that provide comfort, organize movement and introduce language to grow the child’s self-awareness, self-advocacy and self-agency.
